Vascular Surgery

Our vascular center offers conservative, endovascular or surgical treatment of blood vessels, often by applying a vascular bypass in peripheral arterial occlusive disease or prosthetic implants in aneurysms. The surgical treatment of the brain supplying blood vessels diagnosed with atherosclerosis for stroke prophylaxis also belongs to the realm of vascular surgery, as does the insertion of so-called shunts: a short circuit connection between artery and vein, which is used to carry out dialysis.

Vascular surgeons working at our private hospital offer the full spectrum of medicinal conservative, physiotherapeutic and surgical treatment of vascular diseases of the arteries, veins and lymphatic vessels.

Thematic priorities

  • varicose veins
  • spider veins and related diseases
  • venous disease
  • thrombosis investigation
  • leg pain
  • vascular screening

The smallest possible interventions, such as dilations and stent implantations, are always preferable.
